Bishop Samuels and Evangelist Samuels were married in 1970 and are the proud parents of 5 children and 7 grandchildren, God be blessed for the favour he has shown us.

1980 – 1988
Under the tutoring of the late Pastor Bury of “The Bethel Tabernacle” I held various positions in the body, which included Sunday School Teacher, Evangelist, and Assistant Pastor.
1989 – 2001
Saw many changes at “The Bethel Tabernacle” which lead us to be under the Leadership of Overseer Vaughan of the “Miracle Church of God in Christ”. It was there that my training came into full earnest for the role of Senior Pastor. I enrolled with the CBI Bible Institute for 4 years and passed out with a distinction. My Ordination followed whereby I was placed as the head of the London based branch of the “Miracle Church of God in Christ”. I give God thanks for Overseer Vaughan, for his guidance and encouragement that he has given to me as my spiritual mentor.
2001- Present
Out of the “Miracle Church of God in Christ” came the birth of “Shield of Faith Ministries” to which I am now the Bishop . The SOFM has extended to our new Branch in Hackney, under the leadership of Pastor John Jeffers.
With Gods guidance we were able to continue a successful Prison Ministry to HMP Stamford Hill, Kent which has gone from strength to strength.
The “Shield of Faith Ministries” has developed a strong working relationship with the Chaplain at HMP Stamford Hill for over 20 years. In our working relationship we have provided spiritual guidance to the inmates whilst incarcerated and upon their release. I was also a Lay Visitor to various local Police Stations within the London Borough of Hackney and Tottenham. Added to the Prison Ministry we also have organised homeless outreach projects here in the United Kingdom and aboard, which see us feeding the homeless , orphans and widows on a regular basis.
